In terms of animals, raccoons are most lured by eggs. While they will eat animals as well, the ease of grabbing eggs and walking off with them is much safer than having to subdue some animal or try to chase down some little lizard. This is why eggs are the preferred choice.

Raccoons will also eat a wide variety of other creatures. These include such things as small amphibians, reptiles, and mammals. They will also eat bugs, worms, and fish. Raccoons truly will eat virtually anything that comes their way, and if they are able to capture and coral it they will do so.
